The Andrews Labor Government has invested $17.1 million to build a new primary school in Lucas. Recently, I was delighted to join with the newly appointed Principal, Sue Sawyer, to visit the site and see how the school will look. Now you can too!

Families living in Alfredton and Lucas will be thrilled to know that the build is on schedule and that the school will be opening for Term 1, 2020.

I congratulate Sue on her appointment as the new Principal. She brings a wealth of experience in curriculum design and school leadership to the role. Many in our community will already know Sue from her previous position as Principal at Ballarat North PS and I am sure she will do a great job at our new school.
