About Juliana

Welcome to my website!

I am proud and honoured to be the Member for Wendouree, having been elected to Parliament of Victoria at the November 2018 election.

The Wendouree District takes in the central area of Ballarat, including the surrounding suburbs of Wendouree, Black Hill, Redan, Invermay, Lake Gardens, Alfredton, Delacombe, Nerrina, Newington, Brown Hill and Soldiers Hill.

I was born and raised in Ballarat ā€“ it is my home. It is where my husband Mike and I are raising our two children, Jo and Sophia, and where I previously worked for 12 years as a School Teacher.

Iā€™m passionate about making our community an ever better place to live. From great local schools, to world-class health services and more local jobs ā€“ it all matters.

As a former Teacher, I know just how much of a difference Labor Governments have made for our children by supporting local schools and I want to ensure Labor continues to deliver for our community.

I have a strong interest in public policy, particularly in the areas of health, education and women. I am passionate about issues of access and equity; and supporting the most vulnerable and disadvantaged members of our community.

Please feel free to reach out to my office or just drop by to have a chat!
