Member for Wendouree Juliana Addison today joined Ballarat City Council Mayor, Cr Tracey Hargreaves to officially launch the new scoreboard, the latest instalment of the reserve’s upgrades backed by $8.4 million from Allan Labor Government.
The commencement of construction works for 5,000 new permanent seats at Mars Stadium and the new athletics track and pavilion in Wendouree is great news for community sport, elite athletes and sports fans. From Little Aths to the AFL, Ballarat is the winner!
I rise to talk about the bill, to actually talk about nurses and to talk about patient care, quality care and looking after all Victorians from the womb to the tomb.
I thank the member for her advocacy on the health of the Wendouree community and support of this vital hospital upgrade.

As chair of the Legislative Assembly Environment and Planning Committee, I am again pleased to rise to speak on the Securing the Victorian Food Supply inquiry report that was tabled in this place in the last sitting week of 2024.
My adjournment matter is for the Minister for Education, and the action I seek is for the minister to visit my electorate of Wendouree to officially open the new classrooms and facilities at Mount Rowan Secondary College.

Expanding kinder places isn’t just about education – it’s about helping parents and carers return to work or study, knowing their children are getting the best start in life. This partnership will make a real difference for families in Sebastopol. By investing $4.5 million into the Sebastopol Community Hub through our Building Blocks Capacity program, we are not only creating new kindergarten rooms and places - but contributing funds for a much-needed purpose built space for the whole community.
Today I pay tribute to Doug Sarah OAM, Bill McGregor OAM and Ewan Jones OAM, who all recently passed away. These men made significant contributions to Ballarat over many decades in different fields, but all three were driving forces behind the success of Sovereign Hill.
My question is for the Minister for Health Infrastructure and is regarding the Allan Labor government’s $655 million investment to expand and redevelop the Ballarat Base Hospital.
I am very proud today to speak on the bill that seeks to increase and strengthen protection for Victorian renters.
