As the daughter of a pharmacist, I know what an important role they play in providing frontline treatment and healthcare in our community. I welcome that pharmacists can provide more support and save people a trip to the GP.

Funding for financial counselling at CAFS will have real benefits supporting people experiencing financial difficulties by providing professional support when they need it most.

Together these improvements will ensure processes within our justice system can function as intended and that safety is prioritised in our prisons and, importantly, in our communities.

These important upgrades mean the Ballarat Agricultural and Pastoral Society can host larger shows and events, while also expanding their education and community engagement work.

These crucial works will ensure we can continue to maintain key freight and farming routes and get locals where they need to go.

This is fantastic news for Ballarat – this investment will give more local students access to state-of-the-art training facilities right in the heart of our city.

Completion of the interim Liberator Drive extension means that businesses will have easier access to the airport and the regional supply chain, boosting growth and providing more job opportunities for local workers.

My adjournment matter is for the Minister for Creative Industries, and the action I seek is to provide an update on how the 10,000 Gigs fund is supporting live music, musicians and venues in my electorate of Wendouree.

With construction underway, how will the new youth prevention and recovery care centre in Ballarat support young people with their mental health challenges?

There is a growing demand across social, affordable and market housing options for Victorians, which is why the Victorian government is committed to increasing housing supply to address this need.

I congratulate the Treasurer on a budget that is focused on what matters most.

This investment is about making sure families in Ballarat and across our region have access to services that are designed by community, for community – because that’s how we get the best outcomes for children.
